Library registration

• Library registration is online, you only need to have a Student Card (issued by UK Point) and fill out the Electronic Application Form;
• Registration can be done the next working day after the CU student card is issued.

Book loans and anatomical models

• In addition to books, we also lend anatomical models (brain, skull);
• The new UKAŽ library catalog is available at: ukaz.cuni.
• UKAŽ now offers direct user account service, you can extend or reserve books.
• UKAŽ also continues to function as a central search engine and searches for prepaid databases (e-journals, e-books), selected open access e-resources, the institutional repository, the Charles University digital library and library collections.
• Mandatory literature can be found here in the overview.

Electronic Information Sources (EIZ)

• The databases are accessible from the e-resources portal – ezdroje.cuni. or the library’s website;
• In the search engine UKAŽ you will find articles from electronic magazines, e-books and printed publications.
• Some of the electronic journals available to you: NEJM, Nature etc.
