Loan services
Lending services are provided to students, academic and scientific staff and other staff of the Second Faculty of Medicine and Motol University Hospital, professional and general public.
It is possible to study library documents in study rooms (on-site loans) or borrow them outside the library in the borrowing protocol (off-site loans).
The service is available for registered users with valid library card (Charles university employee card, other types of cards).

Library Cards
Access to the library services is possible only with a personal card of a student or employee of Charles University (standard version or in combination with an ISIC card).
Cards are issued at the CU’s issuing centres.

IT Facilities, study rooms
Introduction to IT facilities
The Library provides users IT facilities for consulting available electronic resources, catalogues, and image collections, for applying word-processing and spreadsheet software, and for general internet and e-mail access.
A – study room ANATOMICA
Anatomical models, literature and electronic databases are available on three computers.
B – study room BIOMEDICA
Study room of biomedical – preclinical literature.
C – study room CLINICA
Study room with clinical literature.
Group work oriented study room
A study room suitable for group work with a round table, a shelf with printed medical journals, magazines and newspapers, a magnetic whiteboard and two sitting bags.
